Dometic Presents the 2017 Technical Writing Award for Boat Writers International

ELKHART, Ind. – Feb. 16, 2017 – Dometic’s Executive VP, Marine Division - Americas, Ned Trigg, presented a check to the 2017 Technical Writing Award winner at the Boat Writers International (BWI) Presentation Breakfast this morning.
Congratulations to Chris Caswell, who took first place for his article, “Black Magic,” in the July issue of Boating Magazine.

The writing contest rewards excellence in journalism in categories ranging from fishing to travel, boat tests to photography and videos. The contest draws hundreds of entries each year, and has been awarding $17,000 annually in cash prizes. Dometic has been a sponsor of the Technical Writing Award for Boat Writers International for several years now.

“We will continue to support the efforts of journalists who do an outstanding job highlighting stories about the boating lifestyle in an educational and entertaining manner,” said Ned Trigg, Executive VP, Marine Division – Americas. “Dometic wants to be known for encouraging and promoting the excellence of marine media because we know the impact it has on our industry.
