Peter Kruk, President EMEA, Dometic says; “Awning set-up is now easier than ever thanks to the PW 1100's new, patented slide-out support legs. The innovative design improves both safety and convenience, It’s easy to set up by just one person with no need to stand under the awning during deployment.”
The new product is a fruit of smart Dometic engineering and excels no less than three patented features. It is integrated in a newly designed, elegant S-flow housing design which has no visible screws.
The support legs of PW1100 are neatly stowed in the awning housing enabling users to easily slide-out the awning while standing safely to the side of the unit.
The improved design of the patented EasyLock system also enhances ease of operation and safety. This new design makes it impossible to unlock the support legs accidentally.
In the PW1100, the models 4 & 4.5metres come supplied with the system patented tension rafter, this is pre-installed and stowed neatly and hidden away in the lead housing of the awning.
This patented system protects the tension rafter from damage as well as saving precious storage space inside the vehicle. This latest addition to the Dometic Awning range is compatible with all currently available Dometic awning adapters, thus making a direct replacement of an existing awning easy.
