Dometic drawer minibar recognized for usability

Dometic broke new ground when the company introduced Drawer Minibars. The new design concept proved that a minibar doesn't always have to look like a minibar.

With the drawer minibar, architects can get creative when it comes to necessary functions like refrigeration and use any material to design the cabinet. The drawer minibar fits nicely and stealthy into any furniture decor in hotel design.

Tophotel’s motivation for awarding the STAR AWARD to the Dometic DM series was the product’s “usability”.

For hotel guests, it provides an overview of the entire minibar selection simply by pulling a drawer.

For the personnel who refill the beverages and snacks, this design is functional and efficient. They do not need to remove the contents in order to see what is missing. The Dometic DM series minimizes the workload and the time it takes to refill the minibar.

Thanks to Dometic Thermoelectric cooling technology, the Dometic Drawer series are completely noiseless and can therefore be installed at any point in the bedroom, including right next to the bed.

The hotel guest can enjoy chilled drinks straight from the bed without having to get up.

The appliances are also characterized by extremely low energy consumption. With an energy efficiency class of A++, the compact DM20 is currently the world's most economical silent minibar.

The special highlight: During development, special attention was paid to the dimensions so that many old minibars could easily be replaced by the new DM20 - without having to modify the existing furniture or spend budget on new furniture case goods.
