Dometic launches highly efficient truck parking cooler

The SPX1200 is quiet, efficient, powerful and keeps operation costs down for fleet owners and ensures that both driver and freight arrive safe and sound.

Driving long distances requires some breaks for drivers to rest and recover in order to stay alert. In warmer climates, quiet parking coolers are a prerequisite to make truck stops more comfortable, so that the drivers can rest properly.

To cut the cost and energy consumption while operating, Dometic has introduced variable speed compressor technology to the new generation of parking coolers. This creates a boost in cooling capacity of 1200 watts (rated to ISO 5151) while current consumption is kept low and ensures smooth operation up to 12 hours* depending on outside and inside conditions.

The new generation SPX split system is structured to install the compressor unit separate from the evaporator to ensure flexible installation in most trucks available in the market.
